Artful asked:

We all live in a hectic world. Work to be done and a lot of people to meet, so you may find it hard to find time for yourself. The bills keep coming in, the power is knockned out by a storm, or your commute to work has been effected by a blizzard, and or a flood. In your day what type of routine or lack of routine do you like to do to reduce your stress and overall health.

What effect does stress have on a steel arch deck truss bridge?

felixnovak80 asked:

I wonder if the re-routing of eight lanes of traffic onto four lanes would cause a stress factor of which the four lanes were not designed to with-stand. Thus causing, as in the case of the Minnesota I-35W , a collapse of the structure.

How does one deal with the stress of success?

Peaches asked:

I have plans for my life, some of which i”m already doing. I work at my local community college tutoring students, I’m studying psychology and social work at SFSU, and I have an apartment. I want to be successful and be a CEO, create a great life, and give back to my community, and be an example for others.
Due to requirements of financial aid, certain programs that I’m in, and just plain old ambition, I am under lots of pressure. I will be the first person in my family to get beyond high school and get a bachelor’s degree. I want to be a success and not give up.
However, all the associated stress has taken a toll on my digestive system. It’s hard for me to work when I feel queasy. I don’t want to stop my climb to the top, but how does one make the body strong enough to deal with the work I must do to reach my goals? Eventually, I want to be a Ph.D, own my own home, and have financial freedom. But it’s hard to do when I feel sick. But I don’t plan to give up. How do I do it?

SayWhat? asked:

I get a ton of white card stock scraps from work that they are going to throw into the recycling bin. I like to use them in my scrapbooking, but I get tired of plain stark white. How can I age, or stress, this card stock to give it some character?

happysign asked:

I have been under loads of stress lately and I’m taking Errin (a progestoren only pill) and I wonder if my stress can reduce the effectiveness of the pill. Can I get pregnant? Or is the stress harmless? Besides the obvious harmful things stress does to the body.

Thanks!
