What can a few days of constant extreme stress and anxiety do to your body?

Ive had the craziest days. Well lets just say some really bad mistake i did ended up coming out to the public and if they can prove that i was there, it could ruin everything, college, the rest of my school, everything. For the last two days i have been so scared and stressed that i feel sick and ready to throw up, i havent eaten for two days, and ive only slept a few hours. I just wondering what this constant scare and stress can do to my body. In class every phone call my teacher gets i flip out thinking it for me. Im jsut going crazy and i think this could be really bad for my body. What can happen with all of this going on?

    lack of sleep, lack of eating, nausea, vomiting, weight loss, hair loss, ulcers-stomach and mouth from the acid build up where you’re not taking in food to absorb the acid, acne, blood pressure problems, not to mention mental exhaustion to go with the physical

    stress actually causes your heart to pump faster increasing your blood pressure. Also, you could get acne/pimples from stressing to much. You need to eat food even if u don’t feel like it’s good for your body( if it’s healthy) just don’t over eat though…

    Well if this gets worse..you’re going to need some medication to get through it. One bad thing is that you’re not eating. You’re going to need your strength..mentally and for your nervous system..and you probably need vitamins. Do you want to have a “melt down” or “crack up” or whatever it’s called? Of course, you might want to so you can go to a hosp. and hide. I don’t know how bad this is…is it something you could get arrested for? Don’t you have parents you can talk to about this? You need to find someone you can trust and can give you good advise. See if the dr. will give you valium or something for your nerves. We’ve all (or most of us) done bad things. Sometimes people forgive and let you start over..and some don’t. I hope you get through this ok. Good Luck.

    Do you really want the answer to that… Won’t that just stress you out more?

    I don’t know what one thing you could’ve done - kill somebody that would ruin your entire future. Try to decrease your stress.

    When I was in grade school every teacher I had told me I had no future and would never amount to anything and that the sky would come crashing down on me (mainly cause I never did homework but skated by because I aced all their tests). Buuut they were wrong I’m still here make much much more than the average bear and am pretty happy. unless you killed somebody don’t worry so much.

    If you did kill somebody, seek a lawyer now!!!

    Philippians 4:6,7 in the Bible says: “Be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God which passes all understanding will keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
    I suggest you pray. Ask the Lord to come into your life and help you. I did many years ago and He has helped me and blessed me a lot. I will pray for you also. Try reading the New Testament and look up these verses: John 14:27, John 3:16, Romans 10:13, Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23. Pray and thank God for His love and blessings. He loves you and will work things out.

    Yes it is bad do your ears buzz yet, are you going to the bathroom all the time, hot and cold spells, breakouts in your face. Its time to stop doing to yourself what you have been doing. I guess by the sound of things if you had done what you were supposed to you would not be in this position am I right?

    SO if you want to get better for right now I would take valarian root it can be bought at a vitamins store or health food and it should calm your nerves. Try to be calm about the situation if they haven’t gotten the answers they want by now they may never.

    -Frequent Urination
    -stomach ache
    -depression
    -Frustration
    -steatiness

    long term
    -Heart problems
    -weakened immune system
    -bladder problems
    -Depression

    What to do
    -Get at the cause.
    -talk to a counselor
    -learn to relax
    -Get some Legal advice.
