Can stress reduce the effect of your birth control pill?

I have been under loads of stress lately and I’m taking Errin (a progestoren only pill) and I wonder if my stress can reduce the effectiveness of the pill. Can I get pregnant? Or is the stress harmless? Besides the obvious harmful things stress does to the body.

Thanks!

Stress has an effect on everything your body does… stress effects your period (making it earlier or later). I’d de-stress if I was you, I think the added stress of a the possibility baby would not help out your current stress level.
Call your dr. office and talk with either the LpN or the PA, you can ask them. Every pill effects every person differenly. Get the facts from a profession source.
